Outpatient Therapist (MA/MSW)
About The Position
Palm Point Behavioral Health, affiliated with Universal Health Services, is a 74-bed behavioral health hospital located in Titusville, Florida. We treat adults, children, and adolescents suffering from a wide range of behavioral health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, and substance abuse. Palm Point Behavioral Health offers inpatient treatment options and serves communities in Brevard County and beyond. This Outpatient Therapist position is a member of a multidisciplinary treatment team, working with patients in our Outpatient Department. The Therapist completes individual patient assessments and provides individual and group therapy as required. Therapists will communicate with collateral contacts, schools, and outpatient providers.
Requirements
- LCSW, LMFT, LMFTI, LMHC, or LMHCI required.
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy or related behavioral health discipline required.
- A working knowledge of behavioral health management practices and clinical operations.
- An advanced knowledge of state and federal regulatory and various accreditation requirements related to behavioral health management.
Responsibilities
- Completes individual patient assessments.
- Provides individual and group therapy as required.
- Communicates with collateral contacts, schools, and outpatient providers.
