About The Position

EMPACT-Suicide Prevention Center, part of the La Frontera family, is seeking an entry-level Outpatient Services Support Specialist (Receptionist) for its Phoenix office. This role requires an outgoing, dependable, detail-oriented, and resourceful individual with previous experience in an outpatient behavioral health setting, doctor's office, or similar environment. The ideal candidate will represent the agency professionally and treat clients with respect and care. Responsibilities include managing a multi-line phone system, scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and performing other clerical duties. Flexibility and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment are essential.

Requirements

Minimum of a High School education (diploma) or GED.
Two years of related experience.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to multitask.
Intermediate typing skills.
Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Strong interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented.
Telephone skills.
Knowledge of privacy laws.
Knowledge of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and maintaining the confidentiality of protected health information.
Must have a fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one.
If driving while on agency time or on agency business, a valid Arizona driver's license and appropriate liability insurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT - SPC’s liability insurance carrier are required. Out-of-state applicants must provide 3 years of driving record upon hire.
Staff members who provide support services (administrative or clinical) must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities
