About The Position

Abbott's nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages. This role is for an Outpatient Sales Representative in the Therapeutic Nutrition division, based in Philadelphia, PA. The primary responsibility is to drive sales by securing commitments for recommendations from Healthcare Professionals in Outpatient offices, such as Internal Medicine, Primary Care, and Oncology accounts. The role involves building and maintaining relationships within these offices to highlight the importance of nutrition and identify solutions for using Abbott products. It also requires holding customers accountable and ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will be based in specific counties around Philadelphia and will travel within the territory, with some overnight travel for meetings. A company car is provided.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required
• 2-3 years of sales experience preferred
• Experience with field, B2B, cold-calling sales
• Experience building own book of business
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Executing sales initiatives designed to exceed established sales goals for Ensure® and Glucerna®
• Work closely with District Manager and cross-functional / interdisciplinary teams to execute the sales direction
• Identify customer needs and deliver on sales opportunities accordingly
• Utilize Abbott Nutrition promotional materials to targeted healthcare professionals
• Prioritize the utilization of resources to drive return on investment
• Plan and organize to maximize focus on top priorities
