About The Position

This position is for a Registered Polysomnography Technician at St. Peter's Health Partner's, covering their Troy and Albany Sleep Centers. The role involves acting as a lead worker, demonstrating expertise in performing various types of sleep testing procedures, identifying abnormalities, and producing high-quality records according to Department standards. The technician also serves as a resource person for Licensed Polysomnography Technicians. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited Polysomnography program with an AAS, registered (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists and a valid Polysomnogram License in NYS
• OR Graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program with an AAS and a valid Registered Respiratory Therapy License in NYS
• One to three years' experience in a sleep lab
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Ability to use applied technology in a clinical setting
