This part-time role, 20 hours per week, involves providing quality individual therapy focused on the patient's identified diagnosis and needs. The psychotherapist will offer crisis intervention, clinical/therapeutic services to a diverse client population, and apply brief therapeutic intervention models. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, diagnosing, formulating and monitoring individualized treatment plans, providing case management and utilization review, and educating patients and families. The role also involves making appropriate referrals, serving as a liaison with referral sources, participating in clinical supervision and peer review, providing consultation with other professionals, and engaging in community education and outreach for business development. Accurate and timely completion of all documentation, including treatment plans, discharge summaries, aftercare plans, and billing records, is essential. The psychotherapist will also assist in treatment development, innovation, and improvements, and participate in performance improvement activities. The role requires the ability to provide age-appropriate care, demonstrating knowledge of growth and development across the lifespan and assessing patient status based on age-specific needs.
