About The Position
Gulfport Behavioral Health System is seeking an Outpatient Program Therapist to join their team. This role involves planning, providing, coordinating, documenting, and evaluating direct and indirect social services to adult and adolescent IOP/PHP patients. Responsibilities include conducting group therapy, family therapy, case management, treatment planning, rounding with clinical staff, discharge/care planning and follow-up, and resource development/assistance.
Requirements
- Master's Degree from an accredited college or university, in Social Work or a clinical related mental health field.
- CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
- CPI certification (management of aggressive behavior training) within 90 days of employment.
Nice To Haves
- A minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility or outpatient setting.
- Direct experience in family and group therapies, crisis intervention, and treatment skills.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- LCSW, LMSW or LPC license to practice in the State of Mississippi.
