Outpatient Therapist: Adult Outpatient Program- 7255
About The Position
The Adult Outpatient Services program (AOP) assists adult clients who are recovering from traumatic incidents, substance use, or are looking to manage a chronic mental health disorder through psychiatric & substance abuse diagnostic evaluation and treatment. AOP has a tier-based productivity incentive program, with the vast majority of staff consistently exceeding productivity expectations and obtaining a bonus. Typical days varies as there is the possibility to work with clients individually, in a group setting, or IOP. There is regular weekly supervision provided to all non-licensed staff and biweekly supervision for licensed staff. Nonetheless, supervisors are always available whenever you are working to answer questions and offer clinical assistance when needed. POSITION HIGHLIGHTS: HRSA/NHSC Eligible location! (subject to change) All staff are required to work one evening a week (until 8PM) and attend one morning staff meeting a week. Perfect opportunity to hone and diversify clinical skills. Requirements
- Master’s Degree or higher in related field.
- LMSW, LPC-A, LMFT-A required.
- Valid Driver’s License for programs where transportation is required
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with trauma, mental illness and/or serious emotional disorders and/or substance use disorders preferred.
- LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Licensed Psychologist preferred.
- LADC may be substituted for LCSW, LMFT, LPC or Licensed Psychologist in some programs.
- Other training may be required based on program.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based group, individual, family, and intensive outpatient therapy.
- Perform clinical and risk assessments and make referrals for appropriate services and levels of care.
- Documents client services and relevant activity in electronic health record and performs assigned administrative tasks.
- Participate in assigned meetings including individual supervision, staff and team meetings, and required trainings.
- Collaborates with client’s healthcare providers, social service agencies, and natural supports.
- Maintains documentation in compliance with agency and program standards.
- Participates in staff meetings, supervision, trainings and other meetings as assigned.
- Additional duties as required.
