Outpatient Program Nurse - RN
About The Position
Via Linda Behavioral Hospital is an innovative behavioral health hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient and outpatient services to the people of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix, Arizona metro area. Our 120-bed facility will offer specialized mental health services and substance use treatment for teens, adults and older adults experiencing issues such as depression, anxiety, personality disorders and co-occurring addictions. The Outpatient Program Nurse assumes primary responsibility for the assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients within the Outpatient facility. The nurse assumes leadership responsibilities at the unit level and demonstrates a mastery of clinical skills related to patient’s mental health and physical health needs.
Requirements
- Current license to practice nursing in Arizona or compact privileges.
- Must have or able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience working in a psychiatric setting, preferably an Outpatient PHP or IOP facility.
Responsibilities
- Assumes primary responsibility for the assessment, treatment planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patients within the Outpatient facility.
- Assumes leadership responsibilities at the unit level.
- Demonstrates a mastery of clinical skills related to patient’s mental health and physical health needs.
