About The Position

Pediatric Medical Associates is seeking a full-time Outpatient Pediatrician to join our practice in Sacramento, CA. Pediatric Medical Associates is comprised of 11 pediatric practices in Northern California providing exceptional medical care for children throughout the greater Sacramento area. From newborns to young adults, we offer comprehensive quality-focused services. Our team of highly qualified Board-Certified Pediatricians, experienced Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants deliver superior care with compassion. The Sacramento region offers the perfect blend of affordability, opportunity, and adventure — from family-friendly neighborhoods and top-rated schools to a vibrant food scene and endless outdoor recreation. This position offers a 5-day work week with no weekends, optional newborn rounding, and no call schedule. The practice utilizes eClinical Works EMR and offers a $50,000 Residency Stipend.

Requirements

M.D. or D.O. degree required
Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of California
Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of California
Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) for hospital privileges

Provide comprehensive quality-focused services for children from newborns to young adults.
Deliver superior care with compassion as part of a team of highly qualified Board-Certified Pediatricians, experienced Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants.
