About The Position

Weisman Children's Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Full-Time Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join their skilled team of pediatric professionals in Pennsauken, NJ. This position is benefit-eligible. The Occupational Therapist is an integral member of the Interdisciplinary Team, responsible for the administration of appropriate treatment techniques and modalities for pediatric rehabilitation of children aged birth to 21. The role requires adherence to the scope and standards of practice as defined by the American Occupational Therapy Association, utilizing creativity, professional judgment, and problem-solving techniques to achieve quality outcomes. The OT participates in patient and family teaching, collaborates with other disciplines, and plays an integral role in facilitating functional performance through the integration of physical skills, play-based activities, social-emotional development, sensory processing, motor performance, and cognitive abilities.

Requirements

MA/MS/MOT in Occupational Therapy from an AOTA accredited program
NJ OT licensure or eligibility for licensure
1-2 years of pediatric OT experience
CPR certification
Strong organizational / time management skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work well as a team member

Nice To Haves

Experience with treating sensory processing disorders in an outpatient setting preferred
Experience working with neurological and vestibular diagnoses preferred, however, willing to train

Responsibilities
