About The Position

Occupational Therapy at Cincinnati Children's focuses on helping children learn skills and participate in activities for successful, independent daily living. The therapy process involves an initial evaluation to assess the child's current level of function, followed by the creation of a treatment plan. This plan may include interventions for fine motor skills, oral motor function and feeding, activities of daily living, cognition, visual perception, sensory integration, aquatic therapy, home exercise programs, recommendations for assistive equipment, and home/school environment adaptations.
