About The Position

Merakey is seeking an Outpatient Mental Health Therapist for its clinic behavioral health program in Colmar, Pennsylvania. This fee-for-service position may be performed in a hybrid arrangement. The therapist is a primary member of the treatment team and delivers therapy and coordinates care under the leadership of the clinic director, psychiatrist, and clinical supervisor. The role serves individuals experiencing mild to severe mental illness and includes actively engaging clients and promoting their retention in treatment. The position pays $35 per hour for unlicensed therapists and $38 per hour for licensed therapists (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW). Merakey offers a billable-service bonus system, licensure supervision opportunities, and evidence-based-practice training and certifications for eligible fee-for-service staff. Candidates need at least 20 hours of availability to work with adults, with availability during daytime and evening hours and possibly weekends to serve children. The stated workload is 15–20 clients per week, with a monthly productivity target of 80%. Additional supervision is available for clinicians working with children and adolescents.

Requirements

Master's degree in a human service-related field, including social work, clinical counseling, and/or psychology.
One-year clinical internship.
At least 20 hours of availability to work with adults.
Availability during daytime and evening hours, and possibly weekends, to work with children.
Licensed applicants may hold LPC, LMFT, or LCSW credentials; the posting also accepts unlicensed therapists.

Nice To Haves

Eligibility for evidence-based-practice training and certifications in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Prolonged Exposure Therapy (PE), or Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).
