About The Position

This opportunity is for a Mental Health Outpatient Clinician with a Master's degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or Forensic Psychology. Licensure (LSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) is preferred. The role involves working with an under-served population, including individuals with Problem Sexual Behaviors, Domestic violence issues, and general Mental Health concerns, in York and Harrisburg county locations. The approach is Cognitive Behavioral, utilizing group, individual, and family therapy to improve lives, change behavior patterns, and enhance community safety. Clients include both court-mandated individuals and those seeking treatment voluntarily. The position offers opportunities for professional growth through continuing education and collaboration.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or related Human Services Field
  • PA Licensed: LPC, LMFT, LSW, LCSW - preferred
  • LAPC considered
  • Interest in working with children, adolescents and adults
  • PA Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
  • PA Criminal History Clearance (Act 34)
  • PA Department of Human Services: Use service code 1KG738
  • Educational Documentation: Official transcript from graduate degree
  • PA License: LSW, LPC, LMFT, LCSW - if acquired
  • Child Abuse Mandated Reporter Certificate

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough client assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide behavioral therapy and mental health counseling to clients, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support client care and crisis intervention.
