About The Position
Cascade Medical, located in beautiful downtown Leavenworth in the Cascade foothills of Central Washington, has an opening for a full-time Outpatient Medical Coder/HIM Technician to support our Medical Records Department. The Outpatient Medical Coder/HIM Technician is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and assigning accurate diagnostic and procedural codes for outpatient services, while also supporting a variety of Health Information Management (HIM) functions. This role ensures coding accuracy, data integrity, compliance with regulations, and timely management of patient health records.
Requirements
- Experience in medical coding
- Knowledge of diagnostic and procedural coding
- Understanding of Health Information Management (HIM) functions
- Familiarity with regulations related to patient health records
Responsibilities
