About The Position

Wellstone Regional Hospital is seeking an Outpatient Float Therapist to cover outpatient group services. This role will provide therapeutic services in our outpatient program for children, youth, and adults suffering from Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders. The Float Therapist will primarily work Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed. Coverage will be determined by the Director of Outpatient based on program needs.

Requirements

Master's Degree from an accredited college or university in social work or a clinically related mental health field.
Licensed as a LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAC in the state of Indiana (provisional is acceptable).
CPR certification and CPI training prior to assisting in a restraining procedure.
Willingness to work flexible hours (primary hours are 8:30a-5p) and additional as necessary.
Weekend coverage may be required, as needed.

Nice To Haves

Two (2) years’ experience in a psychiatric health care facility.
Direct experience in family and group therapies.
Direct experience in crisis intervention.
Direct experience in treatment skills.
Strong clinical assessment skills.
Practicum and internship studies or work at a mental health institution while an undergraduate can count towards experience.

Responsibilities

Provide therapeutic services in outpatient programs for children, youth, and adults with Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders.
Cover outpatient group services.
Work primarily Monday through Friday, with additional hours as needed.
Provide coverage at the discretion of the Director of Outpatient based on program needs.
