About The Position

The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary Outpatient Team at The Brook Hospitals KMI. The role provides outpatient clinical services to adolescents and includes group and family therapy. This is an in-person position; telehealth groups are conducted on site at The Brook Hospitals KMI. The schedule is Monday through Friday.

The Brook – KMI is a 98-bed hospital offering inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization, and outpatient services for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Its multidisciplinary treatment team includes psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, pastoral counselors, and activity therapists.

Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited school in the behavioral sciences.
• Must be licensed or under supervision in Kentucky in one of the listed disciplines: CSW/LCSW, CADC/LCADC, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, or LPP.

Nice To Haves

• One to three years of experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain psychosocial assessments.
• Conduct family and group therapy for assigned cases.
• Complete documentation in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
• Coordinate cases and discharge planning.
• Assist in developing and maintaining community resource information.
• Perform marketing functions as assigned.
• Help maintain the program environment in compliance with safety and security policies.
• Use good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care.
• Participate in continuing education activities.
