About The Position
We are seeking an Outpatient Electrophysiology (EP) Registered Nurse with device management experience to join our ambulatory cardiology office. This clinic-based role involves working with adult cardiac patients, supporting the Electrophysiology (EP) Device Division, and providing higher-level patient care in collaboration with a medical assistant team. The ideal candidate must have prior experience in electrophysiology nursing and device management, with expertise in remote report and alert systems, such as MURJ, and the ability to triage urgent patient symptoms and supervise stress tests.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of EP RN experience
- Strong background in EP device management
- Experience working with MURJ for remote alerts and reports
- Ability to supervise stress tests and triage urgent symptoms
- Familiarity with EPIC for electronic charting and documentation
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- BLS certification required
Nice To Haves
- ACLS certification preferred
Responsibilities
- Support the EP Device Division by utilizing MURJ for remote reports and alerts
- Provide higher-level patient advice in collaboration with the back-office Medical Assistant team
- Triage urgent patient symptoms and provide consultations or follow-up care
- Supervise stress tests and manage patient safety during procedures
- Provide outpatient care and consultations to adult cardiac patients
- Document patient information and procedures accurately in EPIC
- Manage and monitor cardiac devices, including troubleshooting and device-related inquiries
- Educate patients regarding EP device management, care instructions, and post-procedure follow-ups
