AUSTIN OAKS HOSPITAL is currently hiring a Transportation VAN Driver- to provide transportation services for patients attending outpatient programs at our: Branches San Marcos, 1330 Wonder World Dr #108, San Marcos TX 78666. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK ALL LOCATIONS. Duties includes to ensure safe and timely transportation; milieu management and crisis intervention. Patients served include adolescents and adults.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Current CPR or ability to pass CPR training during initial employment period
Valid Texas Driver’s License
Ability to consistently fulfill responsibilities and complete assignments
Knowledge of patient rights
Knowledge of Texas driving laws
Skill in developing and maintaining therapeutic relationships with patients and cooperative / effective relationships with other staff
Ability to read and write legibly
Ability to effectively communicate with coworkers, patients and administration
Patience and tact necessary for contact with patients
