About The Position

Sodexo is seeking a full-time outpatient dietitian for The Queen's Clinical Weight Management Program in Honolulu, Hawaii. The dietitian will guide patients through personalized weight-loss and pre- or post-bariatric surgery nutrition plans. Requirements

• Registered Dietitian credential
• Prior experience specializing in outpatient metabolic and bariatric surgery, or willingness to learn
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent time management skills, self-starter, and team player
• Ability to work well with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff
• Meets eligibility requirements for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will become registered within 120 days of hire.
• Certification/licensure as required by state(s) of practice.
• 3 years experienced practitioner able to work with minimal supervision

Responsibilities

• Assess patient health, lab results, and medical history
• Develop customized medical nutrition therapy plans
• Provide individual and group weight management counseling
• Conduct pre- and post-surgery evaluations for bariatric candidates
• Track patient progress and adjust diet plans as needed
• Teach behavior modification techniques for sustainable eating
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary care team
