About The Position

Conifer Park is looking for a Counselor, Therapist, I or II to join our Outpatient Team in Rochester, NY. As a Counselor/Therapist with Conifer Park you will function as part of an interdisciplinary team and provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting. Provide process oriented & didactic group counseling services and individual, family or crisis counseling to a caseload. Sign on bonus for Qualifying Health Professionals (QHP) Final amount dependent on Full Time Equivalent Status for selected shift. Maximum amount is $3,000 to be paid at three intervals (90 Days, 1 Year and 2 year). The following QHPs are eligible for sign on bonus: CASAC, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW. Schedule Range: Full-time Monday - Friday || 40 hours per week within the Range: 8:30am -7:00pm. Background checks, pre-employment & drug screenings required. Requirements

Associate's degree in chemical Dependency or related field with 1 year of applicable experience (for Counselor role).
Current CASAC-T or CASAC Certification (for Counselor role).
Bachelor’s Degree in related field, with one year related experience (for Therapist I role).
Master’s Degree in related field, Current CASAC, LMHC or LMSW with one year of experience (for Therapist II role).
Qualified Health Professional (QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations) (for Therapist I and II roles).
CPR Certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting.
Provide process oriented & didactic group counseling services.
Provide individual, family or crisis counseling to a caseload.
