Outpatient Counselor - Therapist
About The Position
Conifer Park is seeking a Counselor or Therapist I or II to join its outpatient team in Rochester, New York. The role is part of an interdisciplinary team and provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment and diagnostic services to patients in an outpatient setting. The position also provides process-oriented and didactic group counseling, as well as individual, family, or crisis counseling to an assigned caseload. This position is sign-on bonus eligible for qualifying health professionals (CASAC, LMSW, LMHC, or LCSW). The maximum bonus is $3,000, with the final amount dependent on the selected shift’s full-time-equivalent status. It is paid in three installments at 90 days, one year, and two years. The schedule is full-time, Monday through Friday: Monday and Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.–7:00 p.m.; Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:00 p.m. Competitive wages, benefits, and a pension plan are offered in a supportive working environment. Requirements
- Counselor: Associate’s degree in chemical dependency or a related field and one year of applicable experience.
- Counselor: Current CASAC-T or CASAC certification.
- Therapist I: Bachelor’s degree in a related field and one year of related experience.
- Therapist I: Qualified Health Professional (QHP) per OASAS 800 Regulations.
- Therapist II: Master’s degree in a related field.
- Therapist II: Current CASAC, LMHC, or LMSW with one year of experience, or qualification as a QHP per OASAS 800 Regulations.
- CPR certification is required within six months of hire.
- Background checks, pre-employment screening, and drug screening are required.
Responsibilities
