About The Position

Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital is seeking a Behavioral Health Outpatient Coordinator to ensure the efficient, compliant, and professional operation of outpatient behavioral health programs while delivering a high standard of customer service. This role oversees day-to-day office operations, non-clinical staff performance, and administrative workflows to support quality patient care and a positive patient experience. The Coordinator ensures compliance with federal and state regulations, licensing requirements, and The Joint Commission (TJC) standards, while supporting admissions, scheduling, documentation, audits, payer coordination, and discharge planning in a fast-paced outpatient environment. Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital offers compassionate, high-quality inpatient and outpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment for teens, adults, and seniors. We provide a full-range of evidence-based medical and clinical services in a state-of-the-art healing environment. Programs include inpatient mental health and co-occurring treatment, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), and Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

Requirements

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience on an outpatient or inpatient unit preferred.
  • Must have experience with clerical duties.
  • Basic Life Support certification and Handle with Care is required within 30 days of hire.

  • Valid driver’s license preferred.
