About The Position

Terros Health is seeking a flexible, compassionate, and professional Clinician for its McDowell Health Center in Phoenix, AZ. This role involves working with individuals during vulnerable times, focusing on recovery, improved quality of life, and community integration. The company specializes in mental health and substance use treatment and has been serving the community for 50 years, aiming to save lives and promote recovery. The Outpatient program's goals are to achieve a state of recovery, enhance quality of life, and improve integration with community and family resources.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a Behavioral Health Field (e.g., MA, MC, MSW).
  • Arizona behavioral health license (other than LBSW) or eligible for Arizona license from Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.
  • Must pass background check in accordance with Terros Health and DCS requirements, including no restraining orders within the last 10 years.
  • Must pass DCS Central Registry check without any disqualifying events.
  • Ability to perform First Aid or CPR as necessary and appropriate.
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license, be 21 years of age with minimum 4 years driving experience and meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
  • Valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for one within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must pass a TB Test.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience treating co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience with Domestic Violence Probationers.
  • Knowledge in use of Electronic Health Records - NextGen.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/ASL) is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Providing outpatient counseling services to clients, including adults, children, adolescents, families, couples, and groups.
  • Conducting intakes, assessments, treatment, and discharge planning.
  • Facilitating group counseling using evidence-based practices.
  • Charting progress and maintaining clinical records.
  • Ensuring implementation of treatment and discharge plans.
  • Monitoring and following up on client needs.
  • Submitting monthly service reports.
  • Coordinating services with various State, Federal, and local agencies.
  • Providing client-centered outpatient clinical services to individuals/families.
  • Ensuring the achievement of Terros Health vision, mission, program objectives, and compliance with health regulations and policies.
