Behavioral health Experience is defined as work experience providing direct care to individuals whose condition is related to mental disorder, a personality disorder, substance abuse, or a significant psychological or behavioral response to an identifiable stressor. Employee will serve as a Clinician at Terros Health LADDER programs, supervised by LADDER Site Manager. This position is responsible for providing outpatient counseling services for individuals who have co-occurring substance use and mental health symptoms. This includes groups, individual counseling, case management, helping to prepare and serve lunch, coordinating transportation, covering breaks, and any other duties that allow the program to run smoothly and client care to remain the focus. This is a co-located position, and the clinician will work at both LADDER sites. Provision of services will occur in the office or other places of service. Terros Health is hiring a Full-Time Co-Located Clinician for East McDowell Ave & 51st Ave location in Phoenix, AZ.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree, i.e., MA, MC, MSW, in a behavioral health field.
  • Arizona license or eligible for Arizona license.
  • Valid Arizona driver’s license.
  • Be 21 years of age with minimum 3 years driving experience.
  • Meet requirements of Terros Health’s driving policy.
  • Must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card or apply for an Arizona fingerprint clearance card (Level 1) within 7 working days of assuming role.
  • Must pass a TB Test.
  • Ability to perform first aid or cardiopulmonary resuscitation as necessary and appropriate.
  • Experience working with diverse populations.
  • Ability to determine and implement appropriate therapeutic interventions.
  • Seeks supervision/consultation as appropriate.
  • Ability to self-reflect and maintain level of self-awareness.
  • Displays valued and respectful treatment of clients while adhering to confidentiality guidelines.
  • Complies with Terros Health policies and procedures appropriate to professional code of ethics.
  • Ability to maintain session structure, including starting and ending sessions/visits in a timely manner.
  • Projects a positive, professional image.
  • Ensures clients are accessing primary care at least annually or as designated by the Primary Care physician.
  • Reviews service deliveries to ensure health outcomes.
  • Collaborates with all members of the treatment team keeping clients at the center of their care.
  • Actively engages in coordination of client care.
  • Administrative Responsibilities and Documentation completed same day.
  • Progress notes reflect evidence-based treatment.
  • Completes intake paperwork and submits on day of service.
  • Travels between multiple sites to provide services and is on time for sessions, groups, meetings.
  • Maintains license and/or obtains Arizona State Certification within one year of hire.
  • Maintains productivity metrics at all times.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings and other activities as required.
  • Perform other duties and special projects assigned.

  • Maintain session structure, including starting and ending sessions/visits in a timely manner.

  • Successfully meet performance measures related to engagement, successful closures, and referrals to primary care.
  • Ensure clients are accessing primary care at least annually or as designated by the Primary Care physician.
