About The Position

We are seeking an Outpatient Clinic Nurse to effectively manage the daily operations and resources for a provider. This role involves organizing, directing, and administering nursing care utilizing the nursing process, protocols, and standards of nursing practice. The Outpatient Clinic Nurse will also act as a liaison between the practice, patient, provider, staff, and outside agencies. This position is a full-time role at Newberry Health Hospital, a 90-bed, acute care, independent, not-for-profit, community hospital located in Newberry County, South Carolina. The hospital is Joint Commission Gold Seal approved and has earned numerous awards. Newberry County is described as a progressive, largely rural area with a sense of history, community, and stability, located approximately 30 minutes from Greenville, Spartanburg, and Columbia urban areas, with proximity to the mountains and beaches.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing is required.
• Current South Carolina Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers is required.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience as a registered nurse working in a hospital or physician office setting is preferred.
