About The Position
Hartford HealthCare Behavioral Health Network is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Outpatient Psychiatrist to join our Adult Ambulatory Services team in the Greater Manchester Region of Connecticut. This role offers an outstanding opportunity to provide high-quality outpatient psychiatric care within one of New England's largest and most comprehensive behavioral health systems. Additionally, the position involves educating the next generation of psychiatrists through resident and medical student teaching, with potential for a faculty appointment through our affiliation with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligible for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license
- Interest in academic psychiatry and resident education
- Commitment to evidence-based, patient-centered behavioral healthcare
Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient psychiatric care within Adult Ambulatory Services
- Participate in resident supervision and academic teaching opportunities
- Eligible for faculty appointment through our affiliation with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine
