The Outlet Customer Service Associate provides SMART customer service, assists customers with locating and selecting merchandise, answers questions about products and programs, and handles checkout functions. This role also involves writing customer contracts and invoices for equipment rental, cross-training in other outlet areas, and generating leads for Project Specialist Exterior (PSE) programs. Additionally, the associate will manage store systems for pricing and inventory, down stock merchandise, and prepare items based on customer needs. They are responsible for monitoring store entrances and exits for security, maintaining housekeeping standards, and ensuring a safe work environment by adhering to safety requirements and performing daily safety reviews. Operation of store equipment is also a key part of the role. Specific responsibilities for PROs include assisting Pro customers with product location and loading, understanding Pro Loyalty, Pro Credit, MSH, Volume Savings, and Pro Delivery programs, and using sales terminals for various order types. For the Outlet Department, the associate will ensure accurate pricing and signage, process sales transactions, complete freight and merchandising, manage returns, coordinate deliveries, and inspect merchandise for loading and delivery. They will also inspect and clean interior and exterior areas, and ensure safety by checking for hazards and performing preventative maintenance.
