Requirements

Ability to transport large trays weighing up to 30lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to operate a keyboard and learn Point of Sale procedures.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences, such as effectively communicating with supervisors, coworkers, public etc.
Ability to grasp, lift and/or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 100 lbs. on a continuous schedule with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Prepare food of consistent quality and assist in kitchen functions.
Provide guests exceptional service in order to achieve customer satisfaction, quality service, compliance with corporate/franchise policies and procedures and federal, state and local regulations while meeting/exceeding financial goals.
Maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times.
Must be willing to “pitch-in” and help co- workers with their job duties and be a team player.
Must have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette.
Provided friendly, professional guest service by taking accurate food and beverage orders, explaining menu items and specials, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Entered orders into POS system, verified accuracy, processed payments, and promptly delivered food and beverages with appropriate condiments.
Prepared and cooked food according to recipes, portion standards, quality guidelines, and guest orders.
Maintained clean, organized, and properly stocked workstations, kitchen lines, buffet areas, and service stations.
Followed food safety procedures, including proper food temperatures, dating, labeling, storage, rotation, and waste control.
Operated and cleaned commercial kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, ovens, steamers, slicers, mixers, and food processors.
Monitored inventory, prepared ingredients according to par levels, and assisted with controlling food costs and minimizing waste.
Followed all applicable regulations and company policies regarding food safety, alcohol service, sanitation, and guest service.
Worked effectively as part of a team, assisting coworkers and maintaining a professional and courteous manner in a fast-paced hotel environment.
Handled and transported food trays and supplies safely while maintaining consistent service and quality standards.
