About The Position

This role is responsible for offering a warm, friendly, and professional experience to guests and staff, ensuring the quality and cleanliness of all areas of Scandinave Spa Whistler. The supervisor will complete tasks with leadership, keeping the Spa Experience and Housekeeping teams motivated and guiding them to a high standard of service. The position involves overseeing daily operations, supporting team training, communication, and accountability, assisting with administrative responsibilities, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and monitoring/maintaining pool water quality. The ideal candidate will embody the company's values of authenticity, team spirit, and professionalism, creating an environment where teams can thrive while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience leading teams of 10 or more employees
  • Proven customer service experience, ideally within a hospitality or spa environment.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to think on your feet, solve problems quickly, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be available to work full-time, including evenings and weekends, and attend functions after work on a semi-regular basis.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
  • Professional appearance and demeanor, with a commitment to maintaining the spa's standards of excellence.
  • A positive attitude and strong team spirit are essential.
  • Physically capable of lifting up to 20kg and working in an active, dynamic environment
  • Clear criminal record check

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in commercial pool operation is an asset but not required as training is provided
  • Having a valid drivers license is a bonus.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily operations to ensure exceptional cleanliness standards and efficient team performance.
  • Supporting team training, communication, and accountability to ensure consistent standards are maintained.
  • Assisting with scheduling, inventory management, reporting, and other administrative responsibilities.
  • Identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Monitoring and maintaining pool water quality, adjusting chemical levels as required to ensure safety and cleanliness.
