Requirements

Must be guest service oriented.
Ability to interact well with others.
Ability to use computer systems.
Must possess or have the ability to acquire some knowledge of watercraft.
Ability to operate a wide variety of computer-based systems, including reservations and point of sale systems.
Must be well groomed, with nametag on at all times while working on the property.
Must be well-mannered, always display a helpful attitude, greet guests when encountered, show appreciation to the guest for being at the resort, show willingness to help guests and employees at all times.

Responsibilities

Serve as a primary team member and initial point of contact for all outdoor services activities at Stonewall Resort.
Work at welcome gate, campground, and marina areas.
Perform all duties in a professional manner and in accordance with company policies.
Follow all safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Give clear and concise directions to various locations in the resort.
Answer guest questions using excellent customer service skills.
Coordinate operation of outdoor services stations with other departments in the resort.
Collect the appropriate entry fee for guests entering the resort at the welcome gate.
Manage “bank” transactions within the guidelines of the accounting department.
Complete shift reports.
Operate reservations systems.
Support guest calls related to reservations.
Make and cancel reservations, as needed.
Communicate resort and park policies to guests.
Maintain the proper flow of traffic entering the resort at the welcome gate.
Clean welcome gate station, park administration building, and multipurpose building.
Register guests for campsites and ensure that guests are taken care of.
Distribute firewood to campers.
Deal with guest issues.
Report all problems to their immediate supervisor.
Perform minor maintenance activities in all areas, i.e., painting, plumbing.
Clean all park public restrooms, park administration building, and multipurpose building.
Thoroughly clean boats using potentially harmful chemicals to the skin (i.e., bleach).
Inspect property and make notations of issues within these areas.
Clean ashes from firepit areas upon guest check-out, ensure that campsite is clean and ready for the next guest.
Assist other departments as required.
Perform additional duties as requested by the Recreation Manager.
