Requirements

  • 2-4 years of hospitality and bartending experience, customer service focus
  • Knowledge of beverage mixing techniques, cocktail recipes, and presentation.
  • Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
  • Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company and FORBES standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and ensuring prompt service.
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the proper storage and rotation of beverages, glassware, and supplies.
  • Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and closing tabs.
  • Monitor and assess the condition of bar equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge of beverages, mixology techniques, and customer service skills.
  • Communicate with Front of House Team Members to ensure consistent guest service and needs are met.
  • Complete side work as assigned.
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Engage in a positive team & guest focused environment.
