Requirements
- 2-4 years of hospitality and bartending experience, customer service focus
- Knowledge of beverage mixing techniques, cocktail recipes, and presentation.
- Food, alcohol, and safety certifications under FL requirements.
- Written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interact with a wide range of people.
- Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Capable of performing the role in a busy work environment.
- Proficient in reading safety procedures and operating guidelines.
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company and FORBES standards, anticipate and address guests service needs, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
- Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
- Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
- Prepare and serve a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and specialty drinks, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and attentive manner, providing recommendations, taking orders, and ensuring prompt service.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the proper storage and rotation of beverages, glassware, and supplies.
- Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol.
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, including processing payments, giving change, and closing tabs.
- Monitor and assess the condition of bar equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to expand your knowledge of beverages, mixology techniques, and customer service skills.
- Communicate with Front of House Team Members to ensure consistent guest service and needs are met.
- Complete side work as assigned.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
- Speak with others using clear and professional language.
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; and complete safety training and certifications.
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
