About The Position

The University Career Center’s mission is to Empower students. Cultivate opportunities. Forge partnerships. Launch careers. We are seeking Outcomes Engagement Student Assistants to help administer the First Destination Survey to recent graduates. This is a temporary, 1 month position from 9/28 to 10/29 working about 10 hours per week.

Requirements

• Be a full-time student
• Have availability from 5:30PM - 8:30PM Monday-Thursday and Sunday 1:00PM - 5:00PM
• Be a clear communicator
• Be detail oriented
• Be able to work independently
• Be willing to learn new skills required to complete job responsibilities
• Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).

Responsibilities

• Conduct friendly phone calls to recent JMU graduates asking about their career outcomes
• Accurately record the information recent grads provide about their career outcome
• Must be available about 10 hours per week within the evening/weekend calling window: M-Th 5:30PM-8:30PM and Sunday 1:00PM-5:00PM
