About The Position

As Outbound Warehouse Supervisor you will play a leading role in our company’s positive culture by helping us create an effective organization as the automotive industry moves toward an electric future. The Outbound Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading the daily operations associated with outbound shipping activities including: Scheduling Shipments, Inventory Records, and Shipping/Receiving. This role directly works with warehouse shipping personnel to complete loads timely and accurately. The Outbound Warehouse Supervisor is also responsible for directly managing a cross-functional team of employees, accountable for employee hiring, training, performance and retention. This position reports to the Logistics Manager.

Requirements

  • Minimum Age: 18 years old
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Ability to travel, with reasonable prior notice as required (domestic and/or international)
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar position
  • Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interface with various level of employees within all areas of the organization including hourly employees to Senior Leadership
  • Ability to build effective cross functional relationships internally and externally
  • Ability to direct the workforce and deliver results on Key Performance Indicators
  • Demonstrated technical problem-solving ability
  • Strong understanding of the systems and procedures related to production control, supply chain or material handling
  • Goal oriented self-starter with ability to lead teams
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree
  • Bilingual English / Korean
  • Extensive knowledge in Data Analytics utilizing MS Excel, MS Access or other database applications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for Manpower Management, Training, Performance, Involvement and Retention
  • Responsible for leading Inventory Management activities including Physical Inventory Audits, Excess and Obsolete Material Mitigation Activities and Parts Record Integrity
  • Responsible for Managing and Mitigating Financial Transactions associated to Supply and Resource Operations
  • Participates in the completion of kaizen projects
  • Leads Safety, Quality and Cost initiatives set forth by the Plant and Corporate
  • Interacts with all levels of the organization including bargaining and non-bargaining hourly and salary employees as well as executive leadership
  • Perform other position related duties as assigned
