This role is responsible for managing all activities on the night shift with the primary responsibility of managing the selection function utilizing engineered labour standards and ensuring accuracy of all orders picked and on time departures. The role involves supporting warehouse team members with technology systems, providing ongoing coaching and training, ensuring safety compliance, preparing work schedules, and monitoring productivity. The supervisor will manage all aspects of selection, replenishment, assembly of products, and loading, while also analyzing productivity reports and identifying barriers to efficiency. This position is also accountable for timecard accuracy, approvals, and scheduling of direct reports. In unionized facilities, understanding and interpreting the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and participating in grievance procedures is required. The role is critical in ensuring compliance with Sysco’s Food Safety Program and driving Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) performance. Additionally, the supervisor will foster an inclusive culture, develop high-performing talent, and present with executive maturity and professionalism.
