About The Position

Filterbuy, a leader in the air quality and manufacturing world, is seeking an Outbound Supervisor to oversee daily operations in the Wholesale Fulfillment, Custom Production, and Intercompany Distribution departments in our New Kensington, PA facility. The Outbound Supervisor will report to the Shipping Manager and lead a team of hourly leads and frontline associates. We are a leading ecommerce company with a mission to deliver high-quality products and exceptional customer experiences. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Outbound Supervisor to join our growing team.

Requirements

  • GED or high school diploma.
  • Strong background in inventory management
  • 1+ years of operations leadership experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environment.
  • 3+ years of operations experience in a manufacturing, supply chain, or distribution environment.
  • Proficiency with professional software including Microsoft Office or Google G-Suite and with virtual connectivity tools such as Slack.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, including occasional international trips to Canada.
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • 2- or 4-year degree.
  • Bilingual in English and French Creole.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
  • Demonstrated experience leading outbound fulfillment operations.

Responsibilities

  • Prioritize workflows of the Wholesale Fulfillment and Custom Production departments, ensuring customer satisfaction through high quality and on-time delivery.
  • Plan, stage, and dispatch finished product to our distribution center in Toronto, Canada to maintain target inventories across our product portfolio.
  • Manage, motivate, and coach an hourly team to execute daily processes safely and efficiently.
  • Develop and drive process improvement initiatives to reduce cost, waste, and/or variation within the assigned departments.
  • Communicate with Sales, Customer Service, and Operations stakeholders across the company to coordinate work and provide status updates.
