About The Position

Giant Communications / JBN Telephone is seeking motivated and results-driven Outbound Sales Representative (OSR) to support customer growth through proactive prospecting and appointment setting. This role focuses on generating qualified sales opportunities by engaging prospective customers and promoting the company’s telecommunications services. The OSR plays a key role in driving new business by initiating outbound calls, identifying customer needs, and scheduling qualified appointments for the sales team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Maintain consistent outbound prospecting activity
  • Meet or exceed weekly call and appointment targets
  • Ensure all activities are properly documented in Salesforce
  • Uphold professionalism and accuracy in all customer interactions
  • Ability to handle high call volumes and maintain a positive attitude
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in sales, telemarketing, customer service, or call center environments preferred
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) is a plus
  • Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers (minimum of 200 calls per week)
  • Identify customer needs and generate interest in services
  • Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team
  • Accurately log all calls, appointments, and activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Represent the company in a professional and consultative manner
  • Communicate company messaging: Keeping it Simple, Keeping it Local, Keeping it On
  • Promote and introduce services including: Internet, Giant TV Now, Giant Mobile, Managed Wi-Fi, Surveillance systems
