Supervisor Outage: NY Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Operations, the Outage Supervisor will provide technical, administrative, and supervisory support to operations on maintenance and capital projects. The Outage Supervisor is responsible for development of the scope of mechanical work to be done during periodic rehabilitation of hydro turbines, and the implementation and support of construction project plans utilizing internal resources and third-party contractors. The work involves reverse engineering of legacy equipment, oversight of design and calculations to specify or fabricate replacement equipment, and good working knowledge of legacy and modern materials and fabrication techniques. This role is ideally suited for a self-starter who is able to partner with regional Operations Supervisors and work as part of a collaborative team. Travel throughout New York (up to 50% offsite travel) will be required.
