Requirements

High school diploma or GED (or currently enrolled in high school or a vocational program).
Valid Florida driver's license with an acceptable driving record (preferred if transportation duties are required).
Must be dependable, energetic, patient, and passionate about making a difference in the lives of others.

Nice To Haves

At least one (1) year of experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

Provide care, supervision, and support to children during after-school program activities.
Plan and facilitate age-appropriate recreational, educational, and enrichment activities.
Encourage the development of communication, social, behavioral, and independent living skills.
Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging environment for all participants.
Maintain regular communication with supervisors regarding participant progress and any concerns.
Attend required training and professional development opportunities.
Complete required documentation and program records accurately and timely.
Safely transport participants using ARC vehicles for scheduled activities when assigned.
Perform other duties as assigned.
