Job Summary Ensures the quality and integrity of finished products by performing final visual inspections and checks before shipment, identifying and documenting any defects or deviations from quality standards.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
  • Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing assembly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough visual inspections of finished products for cosmetic defects, damage, missing components, proper labeling, and adherence to packaging specifications.
  • Verify product configuration against build sheets and customer orders.
  • Utilize inspection tools and equipment as required (e.g., magnifying glasses, calipers).
  • Document inspection results accurately, including identifying and reporting non-conformances, defects, and discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with production and quality teams to address and resolve identified issues.
  • Segregate and quarantine defective products according to established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.
