Job Summary Ensures the quality and integrity of finished products by performing final visual inspections and checks before shipment, identifying and documenting any defects or deviations from quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle defects.
- Excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
- Ability to read and interpret work instructions, specifications, and quality standards.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in quality control, inspection, or manufacturing assembly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough visual inspections of finished products for cosmetic defects, damage, missing components, proper labeling, and adherence to packaging specifications.
- Verify product configuration against build sheets and customer orders.
- Utilize inspection tools and equipment as required (e.g., magnifying glasses, calipers).
- Document inspection results accurately, including identifying and reporting non-conformances, defects, and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to address and resolve identified issues.
- Segregate and quarantine defective products according to established procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality.
