About The Position
Test OTT applications (VOD & Live TV) on Smart TVs, Roku, Samsung, Apple TV, Mobiles. Validate video playback, UI, performance. Test Live TV, VOD, and Content Metadata. Analyze network logs using Charles / Fiddler. Log and track defects using Jira. Validate firmware and app updates. Create basic automation scripts using Java and open-source tools. Work closely with developers to resolve issues.
Requirements
- Experience testing OTT applications (VOD & Live TV) on Smart TVs, Roku, Samsung, Apple TV, Mobiles
- Experience validating video playback, UI, and performance
- Experience testing Live TV, VOD, and Content Metadata
- Experience analyzing network logs using Charles / Fiddler
- Experience logging and tracking defects using Jira
- Experience validating firmware and app updates
- Experience creating basic automation scripts using Java and open-source tools
- Ability to work closely with developers to resolve issues
