About The Position

This is a full-time, hourly position for an OTR Truck Driver in Effingham, IL. The role requires a Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement, with a Haz Mat endorsement required within 60 days of hire. The driver will be responsible for planning trips, managing unforeseen circumstances, safely loading and unloading product, and operating various types of equipment including semi trucks, tank trailers, dry vans, pneumatic, intermodal, and flatbeds. The position requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays to ensure timely deliveries. ADM Trucking, Inc. is primarily a food-grade transportation company.

Requirements

Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement.
Must obtain Haz Mat endorsement within 60 days of hire.
21 years of age.
12 months of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years.
No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years.
No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years.
No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years.
Must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check, and functionality testing.
Must successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

Plan trips, considering breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic, construction, and city/rural driving conditions.
Manage unforeseen circumstances during trips.
Operate equipment such as semi trucks, tank trailers, dry vans, pneumatic, intermodal, and flatbeds.
Safely and efficiently load and unload product according to company and customer instructions.
Follow all government, company, and customer policies and regulations, including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL.
