Upon successful completion of your training, you'll have access to additional site opportunities and a variety of shift schedules, including Fly-In/Fly-Out (FIFO), 14-on/14-off, and 5-on/2-off rotations. 7 Days On: Work full shifts on-site, gaining hands-on experience, building expertise, and working closely with a skilled team in a fast-paced mining environment. 7 Days Off: With a full week off after every rotation, you'll have ample time to rest, recharge, travel, and enjoy meaningful time with family and friends while maintaining a balanced lifestyle. Training begins in the classroom at our Fort McKay location. As you progress, you will train alongside experienced tire technicians in our commercial shop, retail store, service truck and various mining sites in the Wood Buffalo region. After the completion of the 3-month training program, you will have the opportunity to transfer to another Kal Tire service location in the region and continue your career advancement.
