About The Position

This is a full-time, hourly position. The Class A tanker truck driver position requires a Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement to start with Haz Mat endorsement required within 60 days of hire. The driver must be able to plan trips (breaks, fuel stops, customer appointments, weather, traffic & construction, city and rural driving conditions) and manage unforeseen circumstances. The driver will sit for several hours at a time while operating their equipment. Equipment can include but is not limited to semi truck, tank trailers, dry van, pneumatic, intermodal, and flat beds. Driver will be responsible for safely and efficiently loading and unloading product according to company and customer instructions. Weekends, nights, and holidays will be required to make timely deliveries to our customers. Weekly mileages can and do fluctuate. Over the road drivers start their week either on Sundays or Mondays - Back home every weekend! ADM Trucking, Inc is primarily a food grade transportation company.

Requirements

Class A CDL with no restrictions and a Tanker endorsement.
Haz Mat endorsement required within 60 days of hire.
Must be able to obtain Hazardous Materials endorsement within 90 days.
21 years of age.
12 months of verifiable OTR or Local experience within the previous 7 years.
No more than 1 chargeable accident within the last 3 years.
No more than 3 jobs in the last 3 years.
No more than 1 moving violation in the last three years.
Candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, background check and functionality testing.
ADM requires the successful completion of a background check.

Responsibilities

Safely and efficiently load and unload product according to company and customer instructions.
Follow all government, company & customer policies and regulations, including FMCSA, OSHA, EPA, and DOL.
