About The Position

Experienced OTR drivers on this fleet average $1,725 a week at the top, and new hires collect a $7,500 sign-on bonus. This fleet offers 100% no-touch freight, with half or more being drop and hook. Drivers can expect flexible home time, with 12 days out and 2 days home recommended. There is no forced NYC delivery. Most freight is east of I-35, with an average haul of 400 miles. Drivers will be assigned 2021 or newer Cascadia or Kenworth trucks, all automatic.

Requirements

• 21 or older
• US driver's license held for the last 12 consecutive months
• Valid Class A CDL issued by one state
• At least 3 months tractor-trailer experience (40 ft+) in the last 36 months
• If out of the seat for a while: 6 months in the last 5 years or 12 months in the last 10 years can qualify with a road test
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• No preventable CMV accidents in 5 years
• No more than 3 jobs in the last 12 months
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years if you held a CDL-A at the time (5 years if before)
• Pass a DOT physical plus hair and urine drug testing

• Experience with drop and hook freight
• Experience with freight east of I-35

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class A tractor-trailer
• Transport freight primarily east of I-35
• Adhere to flexible home time schedule (12 out, 2 home recommended)
• Ensure safe operation of CMV with no preventable accidents in 5 years
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations
