The role involves transporting goods and freight, performing pre/post-trip inspections, securing loads, planning routes, and utilizing onboard systems for dispatch and communication. Drivers must comply with all traffic laws and FMCSR regulations, communicate effectively with dispatch and other personnel, and manage cargo securement. The position also includes responsibilities related to warehouse support, such as loading/unloading trailers, picking/packing materials, operating powered equipment (once certified), maintaining inventory counts, performing cycle counts, and assisting with facility maintenance. Drivers are expected to maintain a safe and friendly work environment, report damages and unsafe conditions, and be actively engaged in safety and quality programs. A current, non-expired Class A CDL and valid DOT Medical Certification are required.
