About The Position

This is an Over-The-Road (OTR) position for CDL A drivers based out of Des Moines, working with a Chicago-based fleet. The role offers competitive mileage pay, no-touch freight, and a significant sign-on bonus. Drivers can expect to run all 48 states, primarily east of I-35, with flexible home time options. The fleet utilizes modern, automatic Cascadia or Kenworth trucks, typically 2021 or newer.

Requirements

Must be 21 years or older.
Possess a valid US driver's license held for the last 12 consecutive months.
Hold a valid Class A CDL issued by one state.
Have at least 3 months of tractor-trailer experience (40 ft+) in the last 36 months.
If experience is limited, 6 months in the last 5 years or 12 months in the last 10 years may qualify with a road test.
No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
No preventable CMV accidents in the last 5 years.
No more than 3 jobs in the last 12 months.
No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years if a CDL-A was held at the time (5 years if before).
Pass a DOT physical.
Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Nice To Haves

Experience with drop and hook freight.
Familiarity with running routes primarily east of I-35.

Responsibilities

Drive tractor-trailer combinations for OTR routes across all 48 states, primarily east of I-35.
Ensure safe operation of the vehicle and adherence to all DOT regulations.
Manage flexible home time, with a recommended schedule of 12 days out and 2 days home.
Handle 100% no-touch freight, with 50% to 60% drop and hook.
Maintain communication with 24/7 operations support.
Participate in monthly bonus programs for safety, miles, and productivity.
Adhere to company policies regarding moving violations, accidents, and job changes.
