About The Position

Seeking a skilled Otolaryngologist (ENT) for a Locum Tenens position in Billings, MT. This role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with a coverage period from July 1st and ongoing. The position requires clinical duties combined with on-call responsibilities. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 8 am-5 pm, with at least one week per month, including a 1-hour lunch break. Responsibilities include clinic and operating room duties, with the OR typically scheduled one day per week. Call duties include nights and weekends with a beeper system and a 20-minute response time. Patient volume is variable. Admissions and rounding are required. The practice is supported by 2 APPs, 1 RN, 5 MAs, and 1 Office Staff. The facility is a Level I Trauma Center with a Level III Pediatric facility. This is a comprehensive ENT practice.

Requirements

• Active MT License or IMLC
• BC/BE
• BLS, ACLS
• Facial trauma experience (includes Mandible Fracture Repairs General head & neck experience only)
• General Otolaryngology (Surgical & Non-surgical) experience

Nice To Haves

• Complex head & neck experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient Otolaryngology services.
• Perform clinical duties including clinic and operating room procedures.
• Participate in on-call duties, including nights and weekends.
• Admit patients and perform rounding.
• Manage general Otolaryngology surgical and non-surgical cases.
• Handle facial trauma cases, including Mandible Fracture Repairs.
