About The Position
Seeking an Otolaryngologist (ENT) for locum tenens coverage in Redding, CA. This is an inpatient, call-only position covering emergency department calls and inpatient consultations for ENT cases. The coverage period begins October 30, 2026, and is ongoing. Specific coverage dates include Oct 30, 2026 – Nov 02, 2026, Nov 27, 2026 – Dec 06, 2026, and Dec 26, 2026 – Jan 01, 2027, with additional dates in 2027 to be determined. The facility uses the Cerner EMR system. Temporary privileges are available, with an ASAP credentialing timeline for emergency/temp privileges.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Otolaryngology
- Active California License
- Active DEA Certification
- Clean Malpractice/Background
- Availability at time of name clear
Responsibilities
- Provide emergency department call coverage for ENT cases
- Perform inpatient consultations for ENT patients
- Manage ENT patients in hospital setting
- Respond to call within specified coverage blocks
- Coordinate with other specialists as needed
