About The Position

This position provides an opportunity to transition from other private, public, government or military experience to a 3M career. As a(n) OT (Other Technologies) Specialist, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing plant OT (Other Technologies), computer, and server systems, including diagnostics using electronic test equipment. Installing, configuring, and supporting computers, servers, switches, security cameras, paging systems, and other plant technology hardware. Supporting Data Team with server maintenance activities, including patches, updates, and system interfaces with production equipment. Managing and maintaining Plant Engineering computing assets, including PCs, IP addresses, projectors, and display systems. Coordinating with vendors, communicating effectively with cross‑shift maintenance teams, staying current with new technologies, and following all safety practices. Responsibilities of this position include that corporate policies, procedures and security standards are complied with while performing assigned duties. Safety is a core value at 3M. Requirements

  • Two-year technical associate degree (completed and verified prior to start)
  • Ability to work overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
