CMIT is looking for a Telephone Systems OSP Technician on the Kirtland Air Force Base C4 Contract in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role involves installing and maintaining voice and data infrastructure, including LAN cabling, telecommunication end devices, and VoIP devices. Responsibilities also include locating cables for dig permits, performing interior and exterior cable repairs, occasional copper and fiber cable splicing, and cable testing. The technician will install other low voltage cables or low speed circuits, adhering to current base, industry, and safety standards. Work will be based on customer work orders, dig permit requests, or emergency outage reports, requiring coordination with customers, the permitting office, and other work centers. Accurate documentation and labeling of all work, including electronic records, are essential. The role also involves coordinating with the customer on specific requirements and potentially other contractors.
